Maloja - 1985
Stone, wood and light. As soon as you step into the house, you get the impression of entering a new dimension, a synthesis of three natural elements. The stone façade facing south west looks like an irregular block. The north-west side with the wooden clad is formally reminiscent of a farmhouse. The south-west façade is made of wood-framed windows. Behind the entrance door begins a long, dark corridor, similar to a cave path, which abruptly expands at the end into a room flooded with light. A staircase leads down to the atelier where the midday light streams in through large windows.
