Soglio - 2021
With its three storeys and its proportions, the building project adopts the standard construction method of the existing residential buildings in the village. The materialisation of beige-grey scratched concrete reinterprets the typical Bergell lime plaster and puts itself in an exciting dialogue with the existing garden walls. The vertical format of the windows is based on that of the Palazzi. The planned tower-like house, with its basic form of two interlocking squares, responds to the garden walls surrounding the property. Although the house is quite striking, its ground plan and materialisation make it seem quite natural in this location.
