Description

The new restaurant building for the ski lift in Maloja-Orden was designed as a standalone structure made of prefabricated wooden elements. The building's shape was derived from a Swiss pine cone, which, with its organic and irregular geometric form, emphasises the standalone character of the building. The exterior of the building has been completely covered with wooden shingles. The building was intended to replace the construction containers and portable toilets that were temporarily installed during the winter season.
